Manori Beach

Manori is known for its beach. This beach is near the Portuguese- flavoured fishing village of Manori island which is dominated by the local fishing community (kolis). It is situated at the North of Mumbai about 15 minutes away from Madh Island. It is a famous weekend picnic spot for mumbaites.

There are 2 beautiful ashrams of the spiritual gurus of Nath Sampradaya - Swami Gagangiri Maharaj and his disciple Swami Gaganand Maharaj.

There is a Shiv temple (Samudreshwar) at the entrance of Manori island immediately after landing from ferry.

The closest railway station is Malad. To reach Manori Beach, we have to take 10 minutes ferry ride from Marve Beach to Manori jetty and about 15 minutes by raod from the jetty.
