View-Miniature of the Global Pagoda
The centre of the Global Pagoda boasts of the world’s largest stone dome built without any supporting pillars. The earthquake-resistant, 325 feet tall structure with a diameter of 280 feet, has taken almost 11 years to build. It is twice the size of the largest dome Gol Gumbaz of Bijapur in India.

View-The meditation hall
The Pagoda is hollow from inside without any supporting pillar and this portion serves as a very large meditation hall for over 8000 people enabling them to practice Vipassana meditation as taught by Acharya Goenka.

Vipasana in the Buddhist tradition means insight into the nature of reality. Vipasana is one of the India's ancient meditation techniques.

Lord Buddha's bone relics have been enshrined in the central locking stone of the dome.

The grand size and the architectural style of the pagoda is aimed at reinforcing India’s global image on spiritual tourism map. This spiritual centre "Asia's largest pagoda" will be an added tourist attraction in Gorai, the extended suburb of Mumbai.
