Girgaum beach is famous in Mumbai as Girgaum Chawpati which is adjoining to Malabar Hill, Girgaum, Gamdevi and Khetwadi at the northern end of Marine Drive. It has array of food stalls selling chats, ice-golas, bhel, kulfi etc. The Chowpatty sea face has both residential and commercial buildings. Though the beach remains empty throughout the day, it is crowded in the evening.
