Prabhadevi

Prabhadevi is a central district neighbourhood of Mumbai city, situated between Dadar to the north and Worli to the south. The locality is actually named after an old temple of the goddess Prabhadevi which stands in its oldest section. However, more popular is the temple of Siddhivinayak dedicated to the Lord Ganesha, which is a major landmark and attracts droves of worshipers from all religions.
Prabhadevi has traditionally been a middle class residential neighbourhood. This area has also attracted big businesses due to its many advantages as a business destination and numerous corporations have their offices in commercial facilities here. Located in the geographical centre of Mumbai. Prabhadevi is very accessible from most sections of the city. From the transportation perspective, it is well linked by numerous bus routes and the local railway stations, Dadar and Elphinstone road, both are situated nearby.
